Community Service is one of the Graduation Requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Visit the WCDSB website to learn about the benefits of community involvement and to review eligible activities
- You may find volunteer opportunities through announcements at school, through your church, community centre or other local organizations. Volunteer Waterloo Region is an excellent site to search for eligible community service opportunities.
- Be sure to track your hours as you complete them and be sure to collect documentation (e.g. certificate or signed document) to prove you completed the hours you submit.
Completed community service hours are submitted online using the Community Involvement Activity Record form
