Bereavement: With Heavy Hearts – Passing of Celtic Student, Nico Flamenco Steiner

Dear Celtic Community

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Nico Flamenco Steiner.  Nico was going into grade 12 this year and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, soccer teammates, and all Celtics.  For further details and information, please visit the Erb & Good Funeral home website.  As a school community we are offering an opportunity for students and staff to gather to share memories about Nico and just be in each other’s presence.  This gathering will occur on Tuesday, August 21st from 1pm to 3pm at the Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly (395 King St. N) located across the street from St. David’s.  Members of our Compassionate Care Team will be available to assist students at this gathering.   As a school community we will continue to support each other through grief and sadness when school resumes; however, if you are concerned about yourself, your friend or your child, please reach out to us at St. David.

 Sincerely,

 Celtic Compassionate Care Team

A message from Nico’s parents:

“Nico, we miss you and and will forever remember how you touched us and those around you with your loving kindness.  We know you are in eternal peace.”  ~ The Flamenco-Steiner Family
